AAt least 20 people were seriously injured overnight Saturday through Sunday in a fire that broke out in a 19-story apartment building in the Bronx neighborhood of New York, local firefighters said.
Among the seriously injured are adults and children. The vital prognosis of fifteen of them is engaged.
About 40 people were pulled from the flames. Relief operations are still ongoing. The building has duplexes, some areas of which are difficult to reach for firefighters.
