For many fifteen years, Ondřej Slanina and Filip Sajler entertained thousands of viewers on television in their show Boys in Action. However, Sajler decided to leave the project due to illness, and will be replaced by famous chefs, including the popular confectioner Josef Maršálek.
For fifteen years, Filip Sajler and Ondřej Slanina entered Czech households through screens and passed on interesting recipes. The first part of the show Boys in Action was broadcast by Czech Television on September 5, 2005.
The intention of the creators was to create a show in which the viewer will have fun, learn and learn to cook some food or delicacy, which was successful and a nice pair of chefs quickly gathered regular fans.
In Saturday’s Valentine’s edition, however, Filip Sajler came up with an unexpected message, leaving the Boys in action and leaving the place to other colleagues in the industry.
Filip Sajler cited illness as the reason for his business
The last part of Kluků in the action started a bit untraditionally, because Ondřej Slanina asked his colleague Filip Sajler about his frequent absence, because in recent months he had been missing in several episodes and the audience was getting weird.
“It’s simple. There was a covid, there was an illness in the fall, and now, after several years of considering the matter, I have decided to end the matter,” the cook said.
Sajler did not reveal what kind of illness it was, but one of the reasons for his departure is the need to spend more time with his family. “My older daughter is 11 years old, so I would like to exchange that time for the one with my family. It’s been fifteen years, you’re younger and more energetic and I’m older,” he explained with a smile.
However, the fans do not have to be sad, Filip Sajler will return to the show as a guest and he will also be replaced by, for example, confectioner Jiří Maršálek.

Filip Sajler in Kluce will be replaced in the event by guests who will take turns in the episodes. Among them will not be missing, for example, Josef Maršálek, whom viewers know from the show Peče whole country.
Sajler will return to his show, but he will no longer be part of every episode, as has been the case for the last fifteen years.
“One thing will end or something will change and I feel the need to slow down. It may also be good to stop at best. But I’ll be happy to visit sometime,” he concluded, moved.
