Serious concerns about the increase in myopia, also among young people

There are serious concerns around the world about the increase in myopia. In the Netherlands, 1 in 2 young people are now nearsighted, which means they cannot see far away. To draw more attention to eye health and the need for more scientific eye research, the Eye Fund is holding the first ever National Eye Week.
