Three people were injured in an accident on the A58 on the night of Thursday to Friday. Two cars, coming from the direction of Eindhoven, collided near Moergestel. Three people traveling from Düsseldorf were in one of the cars, they were trapped by the collision and were injured.
Another motorist, a 26-year-old woman from Eindhoven, drove into the back of the three occupants’ car. She was not injured.
Two doors had to be cut open to get the three out of the car. It concerns a man and two women between the ages of 27 and 33, the police said. They were taken to hospital by ambulance.
It is not known how serious their injuries are, one of the occupants was reportedly rushed to hospital.
The three reportedly came from the airport, their suitcases were in the back of the car, a 112 correspondent reported.
An air ambulance was also called, which landed on the highway. After the accident, the road was strewn with debris and was temporarily closed to traffic.
