This is not good news those that arrive for the holders of OnePlus 8T, the most recent top of the range launched by the Chinese manufacturer on the market. The news that emerged concern a bug al comparto audio.
The bug for OnePlus 8T was reported by several users on the official forum OnePlus and appears to have been introduced with update software related to November 2020 patch. It would be specifically about the build 11.0.6.7 of the OxygenOS, with which OnePlus 8T plays audio content, and audio content associated with videos, intermittently. Reproduction occurs in fits and starts, with pauses occurring after a few seconds from resuming playback.

At the moment OnePlus doesn’t seem to have officially resolved the bug, fortunately some users have proposed unofficial solutions. The most obvious is the reset to factory data, which worked for some users. On the other hand, one of our readers tells us that it is possible to solve activating the energy saving mode. The bug also wouldn’t show up when recording and playing audio via OnePlus stock app.
However, we expect one short answer from OnePlus, in terms of fix software. We will keep you updated on all upcoming developments in the meantime let us know if you have also encountered the bug.
We thank Manu for the report.
