Serious accident near Zabokrut

A serious accident closed the road to Sofia at the junction for the village of Zhabokrot, a journalist said “Focus”. The road accident occurred a few minutes ago in the area of ​​the former “Saima” motel, before entering the village of Yablkovo, in the direction of Sofia.

There is a collision between two cars, one of them with a trailer. Teams of “Emergency”, “Fire safety and protection of the population”, “Traffic police” intervened on the spot. At the moment the road towards Sofia is closed. Motor vehicles are turning around and heading back towards Kyustendil.

There is currently no official information on the victims. Both vehicles were badly damaged.

One of the cars was carrying cabbage in the trailer attached to it, entered the intersection in the direction of Zhabokrut and was hit by another car, which is about 150-200 m from the accident. The crossing is littered with glass and oil. The Road Service should clear the scene. Traffic is regulated by on-site police officers.
