A driver hits a 9-year-old child and leaves him injured on the road. Now the police have found who caused the accident.
Update from Wednesday, March 30th, 2022, 3.40 p.m.: In the case of the boy who was hit in Offenbach, the police have new findings. As the officials said, they found the driver of the red car who hit the 9-year-old on March 21 and left him injured. According to the investigation, this is a 34-year-old woman from Offenbach.
She is said to have hit the boy at a zebra crossing near the August Bebel School, which caused him to suffer an open fracture of his leg and had to be hospitalized for several days. The police now located the woman using video recordings from a camera from the city’s public video protection system.
The red car could be seen on the recordings, as well as the number plate, which the officers used to identify the driver. The Offenbacherin is now threatened with criminal proceedings for accident escape. In addition, there is suspicion of driving without a license because a driver’s license ban had been imposed on her.

Suddenly a car drove up from the direction of Hugo-Wolf Strasse and hit the child. The person who caused the accident then drove on in the direction of the Odenwaldring. He didn’t inquire about the boy’s condition. After the collision, the boy was taken to a hospital with a fractured leg.
