Series ‘Under Guardianship’ Wins Multiple Awards at Cairo Drama Festival

Director Mohamed Shaker Khudair expressed his happiness that the series Under Guardianship won several awards at the Drama Festival in its second session, which was held in El Alamein, and commented on his Facebook page: Very happy with the awards that the series Under Guardianship won at the Cairo Drama Festival and from my heart. Thank you to all the team that worked on the series, in front of or behind the camera. I was honored to have worked with so many dedicated creators.

The series “Under Guardianship” had the lion’s share of the awards of the Drama Festival in its second edition, which was held last Thursday in the new city of El Alamein under the title “60 Years of Dharma”, as the series won 7 different awards from the audience and the jury.

The heroine of the work, Mona Zaki, won the award for best actress for her role in the series from the audience and the jury, and the work itself won the award for best dramatic work, and the award for best directing went to its director, Mohamed Shaker Khudair.

The child Omar Sharif also won the best rising actor jointly with: Taha Desouky and Issam Omar, for the role of “Yassin”, which he presented during the events of the series, in addition to the great artist Rushdi Al-Shami winning the award for best actor in a second role, for the role of “Rabee”, while Editor Ahmed Hafez won the award for best editing, and the award for best photography went to Bishoy Roosevelt for the series “Under Guardianship.”
