Facebook snatches Apple Plessey away

At the end of March 2020, it will be announced that Facebook and the British company Plessey are entering into an exclusive cooperation. The company has experience in the manufacture of micro LED displays. On Facebook, virtual reality gadgets in particular could benefit from the step.

But the press coverage claimed that Facebook Apple “snapped” the company. Was that why the plans were delayed? Or because of the coronavirus pandemic? In early May, however, there was evidence that Apple was making an investment in a mini and micro LED production company in Taiwan. In any case, it remains exciting.
