Serie B: Sassuolo and Spezia draw, Pisa remains alone in the lead

While waiting for Pisa-Catanzaro (Wednesday, 8.30 pm), Sassuolo and Spezia are missing the opportunity to take the lead. Twice ahead, the neroverdi were caught up in Castellammare by Juve Stabia: Nicholas Pierini’s brace was answered by Fabio Maistro and Andrea Adorante. By virtue of this result, the men led by Fabio Grosso come within just one point (22 points) of leaders Pisa (23), while the Campanians, on the other hand, reach 16. Same fate for Spezia who are caught up (1- 1) in Brescia and rises to 21 points: Matthias Verreth responded to Giuseppe Di Serio for the Bianconeri in the second half.

Cremonese, Bari and Salernitana tied

Cremonese holds back (2-2) in Modena: Emilians ahead with Giuseppe Caso and Alessandro Dellavalle and then recovered by the guests’ goals by Federico Bonazzoli and Franco Vazquez. The grey-reds, therefore, move their ranking up to 18 points, while the yellow-blues are now at 12. Bari and Carrarese are also tied (0-0) and Salernitana and Cesena (1-1): Daniele Verde replies to the lead Elayis Tavsan.

Only Cosenza wins: 0-1 in Reggio Emilia

The only team to win in the advance matches of the 11th matchday of Serie B is Cosenza who conquers Reggio Emilia (0-1) and gives a breath of fresh air to their precarious ranking. A goal from Manuel Ricciardi decided. The Calabrians, therefore, abandon last place, jumping to 10 points, -2 from Reggiana. The program will conclude on Wednesday: Sudtirol-Frosinone (7.30 pm), Cittadella-Sampdoria (8-30 pm) and Mantova-Palermo (8-30 pm).
