Serie A, Lecce-Parma 2-2: Almqvist and Hainaut answer Dorgu and Krstovic

A very intense match decided in injury time after a red card on both sides and the double advantage of the Salento team

An awareness game at the beginning of the Ocean, where the Parma restart the Lecceahead 2-0, thanks to two goals in injury time. It was immediately a downhill game for the Salento team, who passed after 32′ with Dorgo. But, when Gotti’s team seems to be in control, Gilbert sent away for slapping him Chancellors taking a few minutes of sparring with the ducals. The forcing ends in the 58th minute when the same thing Chancellors sent to the premature shower for dirt Dorgo thrown into the net. The resulting punishment is the opportunity for Krstovic to double Lecce seems to waste several chances (at least one sensation by Krstovic himself) and Parma does not give: Almqvist reopening the game in the 93rd minute, Hainaut equalized in the 95th minute.

THE MATCH
Gotti relies on the new attacking duo of Krstovic and Rebic from the first minute, while Pecchia welcomes Suzuki back in goal after his suspension and up front the focus is on the regular quartet of Mihaila, Sohm, Man and Bonny. Driven by the quality of the dribble, Parma tried to take control of the game immediately and took the lead first: a good initiative from Man in the 11th minute, but it was shut out at the decisive moment with a corner kick. Lecce did not allow themselves to be intimidated and managed to shoot twice with their two attackers, but did not find much accuracy. It’s a back-and-forth on both sides of the field: Falcone does well to parry a couple of efforts from Mihaila and Bonny, while Suzuki controls Ramadani’s mid-range shot from distance. . The Scot himself was one of the main scorers of the goal that solved the match: a perfect through ball from the former Aberdeen player to Dorgu, who replaced Woyo Coulibaly and put Lecce up 1- 0 in the 32nd minute. Parma then lost Sohm to injury in the 37th minute (Cancellieri came on) and ended the first half in trouble, despite a last gasp from Man.

In the second half, Lecce were immediately left with ten men because of the red card that was directed to Guilbert: the madness of the Frenchman who hit Cancellieri with a long ball that only Guida could send away. The match heats up, with the Giallorossi players obviously more anxious: the Salento players begin to concede a series of dangerous free kicks from the edge of the area, giving Parma confidence again. However, the numerical increase of the Ducali was short-lived: in the 57th minute Cancellieri was sent off for a foul from behind on Dorgu, who was sent towards the goal. Krstovic heads the free kick and makes it 2-0 in the 59th minute, also taking advantage of a cross from Woyo Coulibaly. Parma felt the pinch and was stunned for a few minutes, but then returned to attack with confidence: as soon as he came forward, Anas had a good chance in the 77th minute, but he was beaten by another great save from Falcone. The Lecce goalkeeper also repeats a few minutes later on Bonny. Krstovic then spends the 3-0 goal on the counter and it is Parma who will then strike, with the former Almqvist: the Swede reopens the game in the 93rd minute, gives a strong finish. The surprises don’t end here though: in the 96th minute Ducali drew 2-2 with Hainaut, with the last ball of the game. A big insult for Lecce, who had to settle for a bitter draw.

REPORT CARDS
Ink 7 – Woyo Coulibaly surprises with a brilliant move and remains cool in front of Suzuki, scoring the 1-0 for Parma. He gets Canellieri sent off with a breathless run. Definitely in prime time.

Falcone 6.5 – Give everyone a great goalkeeping performance at Via del Mare. He saved almost all of Parma’s attempts as long as he could, but in the final he had to give in twice to Almqvist and Hainaut.

Gilbert 4 – He leaves Lecce with ten men at the start of the second half, penalized for a hit on Cancellieri with a long ball. Unforgiving love.

Almqvist 6.5 – It deserves a classic goal from the old man to restore Parma’s confidence in the end, reopening a match that seemed more than over. Race.

Field 7 – He came on midway through the second half and found the net with the last ball to give Parma an unexpected draw. Successful.

Chancellor 5 – He gets Guilbert sent off, but then overdoes it in an attempt to get past Dorgu and gets himself a straight red card. His game only lasts about twenty minutes.
