Lazio have fought their way back from midfield to the extended top of Serie A. Top scorer Ciro Immobile (30) is happy with the recent weeks. But he wants more.

Lazio qualified for the Champions League for the first time in years last summer. They survived the group stage and now face Bayern Munich in the round of 16.
Presumably the double burden also led to a slide in Serie A in the current lap. But Lazio is back on top.
The Laziali recently celebrated five wins in a row in Italy’s elite class. The result: 6th place in the table, only two points behind the Champions League qualification rank four.
“We are in a great moment both physically and mentally, even if we know that difficult moments are always just around the corner,” said Ciro Immobile, delighted with the improvement in form.

The ex-Dortmund formulated a challenge to the competition: “We have lost a lot of points and put ourselves in a difficult situation, but we are back on the road to success. Now it is our turn and want to have a say.”
The traditional club also owes Ciro Immobile to the fact that Lazio Rome is back on the road to success. With 13 goals this season, the 30-year-old is once again a reliable goalscorer, only Romelu Lukaku (14) and Cristiano Ronaldo (15) have scored more often.
