Kristina Blagoeva is not the first victim of 34-year-old Kaloyan Kaimakchiiski. In 2018, he was convicted of threatening to kill another of his girlfriends, who had also dumped him. The story is like under indigo with that of Christina, but without the fatal ending. Both are his colleagues. Kaimakchiisky harasses them, is jealous, threatens, writes 24 hours a day.
His first victim was from Pazardzhik, but she worked in the office in Sofia, where the two met.
Their relationship began in December 2015. They even lived together in his apartment. And she, like Christina, asked to separate because of his sick jealousy. Kaloyan regularly raised scandals for her. According to the reasons in the case, he influenced her psyche to fear him and obey him. This is exactly what forced her to end their relationship, quit her job in Sofia and turn her life around by returning to her parents’ home in Pazardzhik.
However, Kaimakchiisky did not agree. The same way he threatened Christina, who was killed last week. He continued to subject her to telephone terror. He also traveled to her hometown several times to convince her to give him a second chance. He wrote her threatening messages, saying that he would “erase” himself, but he would not fail to do the same to her and her family. He even managed to get her to go to the sea together. He assured her that this would calm her down and accept the fact that they were no longer a couple. In July 2016, they went to Kiten for three days. On the way back, she told him that she was firm in her decision to separate.
A month later, on August 26, Kaloyan broke into her home without her expecting him. At 7:10 a.m., the woman’s mother leaves for work and locks the front door of the second floor, where she and her daughter sleep, as well as the front door of the house. Exactly 10 minutes later, Kaloyan entered the family’s home. How this happened, the investigation was unable to establish precisely. As soon as he enters the house, the jealous man goes straight to the room of his ex-partner.
She wakes up to the door opening. He is seen with a backpack on his back, wearing a gray striped sweatshirt with a hood pulled over his head and a gray beanie top. He had slipped over his shoes and blue medical gloves on his hands. Probably to leave no trace. Likewise, Kaimakchiiski was wearing gloves when he entered Christina’s car on April 3 of this year. However, then he carries a gun with which he kills her.
And in 2016, in Pazardzhik, he was armed with an electric shock baton and a knife. When she saw him above her, the woman tried to stand up, but he pressed her forehead with his left hand to keep her from moving. She was numb with fear. Kaimakchiisky took out the folding knife and opened it.
“What do you want me to kill you with?! – he hissed at her, waving the club and the knife in front of her eyes – Why don’t you make it easy for me and kill yourself?”
His ex was so scared that she replied: “Okay, I’m going to kill myself.”
At that moment, Kaloyan told her that “from a good heart” he would give her a chance, but only if two days later she went to Sofia to understand.
