Planned revenge on seven girls for months?
In late February, serial killer Roger Kebbe (81) was found dead in his cell at Molly Creek prison in California; now his cellmate has confessed to killing his colleague in a letter. Jason B wrote in his letter that he had planned to work for several months and wanted revenge on the seven victims of Kepe’s murder. But it seems that there was another reason for this action.
Kibbe became known as the “I-5 Strangler”
Roger Kibi became known as the “I-5 Strangler” because many of his victims were found near Highway 5, all of them suffocated (suffocate = suffocate). Kibi has been behind bars for seven murders, but authorities always suspect that he may have committed more murders. Over and over again they interrogated Kibi in prison, always to no avail.
Kibbe always followed the same pattern: between 1977 and 1986 he offered his victims, all women, a trip to a distant place and there he raped them. Kibi then strangled the women and cut off a lock of their hair or clothing to keep as a mug.
– At the age of 81 and with no prospect of early release, Kibi was looking forward to his death in prison, but he probably had no idea that it would happen so quickly. On February 28, 2021, according to police, Kibbe was discovered on the floor of his cell by guards, and alongside him his new cellmate Jason B. Kibbe finally died in the prison infirmary, authorities suspect of a murder. He was strangled to death, for which he suffered the same fate as his victims. Now Jason B. seems to have admitted this act in a letter to the Mercury News. Although Jason B. himself was convicted of murdering and raping a 14-year-old girl, but he wanted “revenge” for the victims of Roger Kebbe, as he wrote in his letter, according to the newspaper. He made the decision to commit the murder when he saw a documentary about Kibbe on television. In his letter B he said: “In fact, my plan started with the fact that I was transferred to an isolation cell and therefore I wanted to kill my cellmate. But that became my mission to get revenge on Kebe’s youngest girl and other victims. . ” Speech. He spent months earning Kebe’s trust only to be taken to his cell. The first day the two shared a dungeon, Kibi was finally killed. Kibi was strangled like his victims. To date, no charges have been brought against Jason B, despite the confession contained in the letter. According to Mercury News, he wrote in his letter that he was not concerned about the legal consequences anyway. If the authorities decide to impose the death penalty for Kebe’s murder, they can do so safely. Vito Bertucini, the investigator who worked his life on the Kepe case and always suspected that there must be more victims, told the newspaper that Kepe’s murder was part of justice. “I don’t want anyone to get hurt, but I hope Kebe remembers all his victims when he died.”
