As planned, following the electric sedan Porsche Taycan a soplatform model of the Audi e-tron GT should be released. From the official premiere of the same name concept car almost two years have passed, and the debut of the production car has not yet taken place. And yet the project has not been forgotten: Ingolstadt is preparing for the long-awaited premiere and the start of sales, and in order to stir up interest in the new product, the company has published photos of the prototype, which has almost completely lost its camouflage. Only a camouflage film remains on the body, which practically does not interfere with the proportions and details.

Judging by the pictures, the serial Audi e-tron GT sedan largely repeats the concept of two years ago: the silhouette of the body has not changed much. And a number of details like slightly larger headlights, traditional door handles and slightly retouched side glazing indicate that the electric car is ready to enter the conveyor.

The LED taillights, bumper and diffuser are also slightly redesigned, but even in this form, the Audi e-tron GT is still unmistakable in the photos. Alas, engineers have not yet talked about the technical details. It is possible that a serial electric car will indeed get a twin-engine power plant with a total capacity of 590 hp. and a traction battery with a capacity of 90 kW ∙ h.

However, the creators specially reserved the most interesting for the official premiere. Along with the standard Audi e-tron GT model, the most powerful version with the RS prefix will also be presented. Both electric vehicles will be shown by the end of this year. The cars will be produced at the Audi plant in Neckarsulm, Germany, where the Audi R8 supercars are already being made: the modernization of the plant is almost complete.
