STUTTGART- The race against time is on for Serhou Guirassy, injured this weekend after scoring again in the league with Stuttgart in Germany. The Guinean felt problems in his left hamstring and therefore left his teammates after only 30 minutes of play against Union Berlin. And his club has just announced that the top European scorer will be unavailable for the coming weeks.
« Serhou Guirassy suffered a small muscle injury to his left rear thigh during the Bundesliga match against Union Berlin. As a result, the 27-year-old will be unavailable for a few weeks.” specifies Stuttgart.
VfB coach Sebastian Hoeneß : « Serhou’s defeat is bitter for him personally and for us as a team. Everyone saw what form Serhou was in recently. We must and will compensate for his loss as best as possible.”
A few weeks before the Ivory Coast 2023 African Cup of Nations, Guinea and Syli National supporters are holding their breath.
