During a special event, the UAF announced that Serhiy Rebrov became the new coach of the Ukrainian national team. The contract is for three years.
The debut of the specialist will take place on June 12 in the test match against Germany. As part of the Euro 2024 qualification, Ukraine will play against North Macedonia on June 16, and on June 19 – with Malta.
Rebrov successfully worked in Ukraine with Dynamo Kyiv, and then worked in Al-Ahli, Ferencvaros and Al-Ain.
“I want to thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for protecting us and giving us the opportunity to talk about football. I am glad that I returned to Ukraine. My family is also coming back. I am glad that my wife accepted my decision this way,” Rebrov said.
