Sergio Ramos will not go to Juventus

Zamalek say they are still in talks with Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos. Instead of signing with Juventus, where he was expected to replace Bremer, the former Parisian has a good chance of joining Egypt.

Ramos is a free agent after leaving Sevilla in the summer. Talks were held with the Egyptian giants as both sides tried to find common ground.

“Some agents and intermediaries are working on this opportunity. Sergio Ramos is indeed a great player who has won everything with Real Madrid and Spain. He would be a great player for any Middle Eastern or African team Zamalek media coordinator Ahmed Shawky told ESPN.

“There is nothing hard at the moment, and there is a big financial demand on the player. We should also not forget that Zamalek have recently recruited other central defenders. It would be a big boost for Egyptian football, more prestige for Zamalek and the championship (if we manage to close the deal)”the Egyptian leader added.
