The working relationship between Sergio Ramos and Paris Saint-Germain expires next June. Whether the contract will be extended remains to be seen. Should PSG decide against the Spaniard, the big payday invites him to the desert.

Sergio Ramos moved from Real Madrid to Paris Saint-Germain in 2021 to much anticipated praise. In his first season, however, the Spanish world and European champion could hardly show what he is still capable of due to injury.
In the current season, the finally injury-free old champion is used regularly and convinces in the defensive chain of coach Christophe Galtier. According to media reports, the French want to extend the expiring contract with the 36-year-old.
If there is no agreement, the central defender could end up in the desert. Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr is vying for his services. “If you don’t extend, we’ll make you an offer,” the club officials promised Ramos, according to the specialized newspaper Sport.
Al Nassr recently made headlines after signing Cristiano Ronaldo. The five-time world footballer moves from Manchester United to Riyadh on a free transfer and has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract that should bring CR7 a good 500 million euros.
Cristiano Ronaldo is expected not only to become Al Nassr’s sports figure but also to boost the kingdom’s chances of winning the 2030 World Cup. Saudi Arabia is bidding to host the next World Cup.
