After 16 years in the Real Madrid jersey, Sergio Ramos was on the training ground for his new club for the first time on Monday.
Paris Saint-Germain has secured the services of the 35-year-old on a free transfer. At PSG, Ramos will also meet Kylian Mbappé, who, according to Royal media reports, has been on the list for some time.
But the Frenchman shouldn’t be switching to Real at the moment, said the newcomer. “I would like him to stay with PSG because I like to play with the best,” said Ramos of the Brand quoted. “I don’t know what Kylian is up to, but he can make the difference.”

Ramos: “Big players should go to Real Madrid”
Later in Mbappé’s career, he would still suggest the attacker move to Real. “Madrid are one of the best clubs in the world. In terms of history, it’s the best. For me, the big players should go there,” said Ramos.
The Spaniard didn’t want to say a lot about his own departure from Real Madrid. “Looking back is always a mistake, I’m an adventurer,” said the central defender.
“The priority was getting to a great team and how I was treated here at PSG was key,” said Ramos of his reasons for moving.
Ramos with a promise to his ex-club
The defender is very happy about this step. Mbappé isn’t the only star Ramos is looking forward to. “I can’t wait to play with Neymar and Mbappé,” he said. “I have a great relationship with Neymar and Kylian is playing at a super high level.”
Ramos promised one more thing to the Real Madrid supporters: “I will never celebrate a goal against Madrid. Above all, they are my family and will always be in my heart. They deserve this respect.”
After all, the international played 671 competitive games for Los Blancos.
