Sergio Herman steps out of Antwerp star restaurant The Jane

After seven years, top chef Sergio Herman says goodbye to his two-star restaurant The Jane in Antwerp. Not much will change, but Nick Bril – Herman’s business partner – now owns the full 100 percent. They announced this themselves in a press release.

In 2014 Sergio Herman and Nick Bril opened restaurant The Jane in Antwerp’s Groen Kwartier. The restaurant immediately became a hotspot for gourmet food lovers. And soon the duo was awarded two Michelin stars. The Jane scored 18 out of 20 at Gault & Millau and is a member of the prestigious club ‘Les Grandes Tables du Monde’.

“The Jane Antwerp has challenged us from the very first moment, both creatively and culinary, and I look back with pride on everything we have achieved here. It is only logical that Nick Bril continues with his talent and entrepreneurship what he has already done in practice in recent years”, Sergio Herman reacts in a press release. He will now mainly focus on international growth with his group. Nick Bril will take over the remaining shares of The Jane.
