Sergey Lavrov: Sanctions against Russia hinder the implementation of the Black Sea grain deal

/Pogled.info/ Despite the efforts of the UN to play a coordinating role regarding the implementation of the agreement on the export of grains from the Black Sea ports, the commitments made by the Western countries are a “fraud” and the sanctions against Moscow prevent the Russian side from fulfilling its part of the agreements. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference in New York.

He also added that Ukraine uses the humanitarian corridor for drone attacks against Russian targets, which also hinders the implementation of the agreement.

Before the press conference, Lavrov, who participated in the session of the UN General Assembly, met with the Secretary General of the organization Antonio Guterres. The two discussed the situation in Ukraine, US visa restrictions against Russian diplomats and other issues.
