Sergei Semak came in second in the history of Zenit in terms of the number of victories among coaches. About it reported in the club’s Telegram channel.

The victory in the match of the 24th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) against Dynamo Moscow (3: 1) was Semak’s 122nd as head coach of Zenit. According to this indicator, he was ahead of Yuri Morozov.

Semak is second only to Pavel Sadyrin, who has 125 wins in 262 matches. At the same time, to achieve such a result, it took him only 202 matches – in terms of the percentage of wins (60.4%), he is ahead of Sadyrin (47.7%).

Of these 122 victories of Zenit under Semak, 98 were won in the Russian Championship, 14 in the Russian Cup and Super Cup, and 10 in European competitions.

Semak single-handedly leads the ranking of the most titled coaches in the history of the St. Petersburg club – he has won eight trophies with Zenit.
