The Sergas (servicio Gallego de Salud) has advanced this Saturday that formalized the next week the recruitment of two pediatricians to the hospital of Verín (Ourense) for the care of newborns, while that provides for the re-birthing “in the early days,” Februaryafter staying closed since the beginning of December, in a decision that caused great social response.
In a statement, the manager of the hospital of Verín, Guillermina Agulla, reports that work on drafting a protocol to return with guarantees and security the attention to the parthians at the beginning of the next month. “If I am honest, I have not come here only to re-open the birthing, my desire is to enhance the hospital of Verínand to make the hospital’s innovative that we feel proud of it professionals and users”, explains Wilhelmina Agulla in an audio recording distributed to the media by the Department of Health.
The president of the Xunta, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, he had already stated this week that he had contacts, “advanced” pediatricians, in the line of the contacts that the director of the health district moved recently in an interview to Europa Press.
