Sergas will enable flu immunization points on Saturday, December 16 and Sunday, December 17 for children from 6 to 59 months
SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA, December 7 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Galician Health Service (Sergas) will close the ‘vaccinodromes’ this Saturday, but anyone who wishes to receive the flu or covid-19 vaccine will be able to make an appointment to be immunized against these two diseases starting this Monday, 11 December, either in health centers or hospitals.
The General Directorate of Public Health calls on all Galicians to get vaccinated. For people aged 80 and over, the possibility of making an appointment at their primary health center to receive the covid and flu vaccine will continue to be available.
Although, if they prefer, they have the option of going to hospitals, as the rest of those under 80 years of age who are indicated for immunization will have to do. However, there is also the possibility of being immunized only against the flu, for which they can go to their health center through the usual appointment system.
FLU VACCINE FOR CHILDREN BETWEEN 6 AND 59 MONTHS
On the other hand, starting on the weekend of December 16 and 17, Sergas will set up points in hospitals for flu vaccinations for children between 6 and 59 months (under five years old).
This is a new call with which Sergas wants to “facilitate conciliation”, since it is now possible to do so any day of the week in health centers. The call will also be by SMS.
