The whole world was surprised by the death of Chadwick Boseman, as was Serena Williams. The American tennis legend thanked us emotionally on social media for the good that Boseman, who became famous after his role in Black Panther, offered our world.

Not just Serena Williams; Maria Sharapova’s friend paid homage to Boseman
Alongside the touching message from Serena Williams, another person involved in the tennis world honored Chadwick Boseman’s death.
And that person is Maria Sharapova’s friend, the businessman Alexander Gilkes. He expressed his regret that he had lost such a great man by posting clips of a video in which fans of the Black Panther movie thanked Boseman for the way he portrayed the character who played him on the made famous all over the world.
Chadwick Boseman died at the age of 43 after a private four-year battle with colon cancer. His final years were briefly described in a statement from his family. “It is with immeasurable sorrow that we confirm the death of Chadwick Boseman.
Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016 and has struggled with it for the past 4 years when he reached stage IV. Chadwick, a true fighter, went through it all and brought back many of the films that you loved so much, ”it continues.
“From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and a few more, have all been filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. It was his career honor to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther.
He died in his home with his wife and family by his side. The family thanks you for your love and prayers and asks you to continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time, “said Boseman’s family statement on Twitter.
