Serena Williams can make a comeback at Wimbledon

On Instagram, she writes “It’s a date. 2022, see you there ”and also writes the postcode for the tennis arena in the Wimbledon London area, SW19, in his post. She also tags next week’s WTA tournament in Eastbourne, the preparatory competition for Wimbledon.

Williams, 40, came slightly injured and heavily bandaged to play at Wimbledon last year, but was forced to break in the first match when she injured her ankle. She has not played in any tournament since.

She is ranked 1,208 in the world and need a wildcard to play in the grand slam tournament. It is also unclear if she plans to play single or double.

Serena Williams has won 23 grand slam titles in her career. Only Margaret Court has won more, 24.
