The seremi de Salud de Magallanes, Mariela Rojas, resigned this Sunday from his position after the Minister of Health, Enrique Paris, summon the authorities of the region to “Better coordinate”.
The Minister of Health described as “incomprehensible” Magallanes is the region with the highest incidence rate of active COVID-19 cases in Chile, according to the latest epidemiological report.
After his statements, Mariela Rojas resigned from her post, describing the words of the head of the Health portfolio as “Partial, erroneous and unacceptable”.

The Seremi de Salud de Magallanes assured that the Minister of Health I would have been untrue saying that “we are going to have a very large number of patients in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit again and again we may have, hopefully not, a collapse.”
