Serbian song became “Song of the Balkans for 2009” –

The award for “Best Video” for 2009 went to Anna Visi from Greece, and in the category “Best Duet/Group” – “Accent” from Romania.

“Song of the Balkans for 2009” became the Serbian “Lyubavi”, performed by Želko Joksimović.

One of the biggest stars of the Balkans gathered at the first Balkan Music Awards on the stage of Prince Alexander First Square in Sofia.

Eleven songs competed for “Song of the Balkans 2009” – one from each of the eleven Balkan countries, and the favorites were chosen by the viewers via SMS.

The award for “Best Video” for 2009 went to Anna Visi from Greece, and in the category “Best Duet/Group” – “Accent” from Romania.

Hadise from Turkey is “Best Singer”, and the award for “Best Singer” again went to Serbian Zelko Joksimovic.

Anna Visi received her statuette for “Contribution to the development and popularization of music from the Balkans”.
