Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced a large-scale disarmament plan aimed at collecting hundreds of thousands of weapons from the population. This comes after the country, located in the Balkans, witnessed two massacres with firearms that left seventeen people dead, including eight children, and dozens wounded. The recent random shooting incident occurred in a village south of the capital, Belgrade, in which twenty-two people were killed or wounded.
