Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic’s Conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky: No Change in Serbia’s Stance on Sanctions against Russia

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke about a “correct” conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit in Moldova.

It is reported by “European truth” with reference to RTS.

Vučić also said that the conversation with Zelensky did not affect Serbia’s position on imposing sanctions against the Russian Federation.

“We had a short and correct conversation, but the decision on sanctions is made by the citizens of Serbia through their leadership. We made our decision in March 2022 and determined our position. You can never change someone’s position with one conversation,” the Serbian president said .

Vučić said that Serbia is pursuing its own policy, that it is an independent country that respects Ukraine.

It was previously reported that Vucic had a conversation with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the summit of the European Political Community in Moldova.

About how in Moldova they “stopped” the normal life of the country for the sake of the summit, watch the video blog “EP” from the scene.
