FRANKFURT. Serbian fighter Bojan Veličković became a finalist of the Tipsport Gamechanger project.
At the Oktagon 46 event, he defeated Czech David Kozma in the first round by technical knockout in a rematch.
Veličković did well from the beginning of the duel, when he countered with hard kicks and defended takedowns well.
At the end of the round, he shook Kozmo and forced the referee to end the match with a shower of hard blows on the ground.
“I would like to apologize to everyone, I didn’t make it to the match at all. I thank everyone for the support and I will be stronger next time,” said Kozma after the match.
“If David wants another rematch, I’m open to it. If it’s the main five-round match in Serbia, I’d go for it,” Veličković said after the duel.
After a clear victory, the Serbian fighter has a final fight in the Tipsport Gamechanger pyramid against the Greek Andreas Michailidis.
