SGH Waldbrunn-Eberbach – TSV Steinsfurt 47:6
Eberbach. (ml) The new 2024/25 season began for the young handball players at SGH Waldbrunn-Eberbach with the home game against KuSG Leimen. However, since Leimen had canceled due to illness-related absences, the SGH recorded two points on the credit side without a fight.
The female C-youth of the SGH Waldbrunn-Eberbach only became active on Saturday, in the local Hohenstauffenhalle. The opponents came from TSV Steinsfurt.
From the start it was clear that the home team wanted to win another two points. SGH had a really strong run and achieved a 12-goal lead within the first ten minutes. It was clear to the guests that the team is still in the process of finding and building up. The SGH girls consistently increased their lead and the game was already decided at half time. The sides changed hands with an incredible lead of 24 goals.
After the break, the SGH handball players continued seamlessly and did not allow the TSV any recovery period. The hosts added goal after goal and increased the result further. In the end there was a remarkable result of 47:6 goals on the scoreboard. The Waldbrunner and Eberbach players thus won four points in one game.
It was very pleasing that all the players played and some even scored their first goals and thus gained self-confidence for the further games.
The next game for the SGH Waldbrunn-Eberbach female C youth team will take place on Sunday, October 6th in the local Hohenstauffenhalle. The TB Neckarsteinach is a guest. The team would certainly be happy to receive loud support from the stands.
