Inspired by the vinyl record “Snow White School” and the little beasts, director Arnita Jaunsubrēna, together with actresses Anta Aizupe and Ieva Džindža, focuses on the study of human-animal relations from a philosophical point of view. The show is a story about girls growing up in search of their inner animal and its place in society.
The play “Snow White School” (author of the text – Georgy Landaus, author of music – Grigory Teplickis) was commissioned by the Moscow Puppet Theater in 1952 and achieved great success, so it was decided to stage it in other Soviet republics. In 1954, the play was staged at the Latvian Radio Theater, then released on vinyl.
