The selective perfumery chain Sephora has just appointed Deborah Yeh to the position of global marketing director. Previously responsible for Sephora’s purpose (chief purpose officer)Deborah Yeh will take up her new role on November 13 and will succeed Steve Lesnard, who is leaving the LVMH group brand.
Arriving at Sephora in 2012 as vice-president of marketing for the Americas zone, Deborah Yeh will now focus on strengthening the attractiveness of the Sephora brand. She will also continue to foster collaboration across regions and encourage the sharing of best practices, while remaining responsible for Sephora’s purpose and sustainability strategy. Deborah Yeh will also continue to work under the direction of Guillaume Motte, President and CEO of Sephora.
“During her eleven years at Sephora, Deborah Yeh has had a remarkable impact on our company. Both during her two years as chief purpose officer as Sephora’s Marketing Director for North America. During this period, she led key initiatives for Sephora such as the redesign of our loyalty program in the United States and the co-creation of our Sephoria event. She also strongly participated in accelerating our commitment to sustainability, diversity, equity and inclusion in North America and globally,” explains Guillaume Motte.
Sephora, which has 3,000 stores around the world, employs 46,000 people and achieved a turnover of 12 billion euros in 2022, according to sector specialists, making it LVMH’s second brand behind Louis Vuitton (20 Billions of Euro’s).
