Sep Vanmarcke left Lotto-NL Jumbo at the end of 2016 for Cannondale and successors EF Education First.
The West-Flemish now leaves Jonathan Vaughters’ stable for a period of 3 seasons at Israel Start-Up Nation.
“He is a strong man for the classics who brings the winning spirit to our squad,” said team owner Sylvan Adams.
“My goal is to win the Tour of Flanders or Paris-Roubaix in the coming years”, adds Vanmarcke himself.
“I chose this team because this team is growing. In a few years time this team has grown from a small team to a formation in the WorldTour. They aim high and I do that too.”
“They have built a strong group for years to come. I am happy to be part of this.”
Sep Vanmarcke joins the list of acquisitions such as Chris Froome, Daryl Impey, Michael Woods, Alessandro De Marchi, Patrick Bevin and Carl Fredrik Hagen.
