In fact, CCTV in the alley showed the brake lights of the couple’s car turned on. Sujin Lee, who has been driving for 38 years, said, “It didn’t feel like I was stepping on the brakes. “I stepped on it and it felt hard and wouldn’t go in,” he said.
Seol Woon-do said, “If the brakes did not engage, it meant that they did not work. The airbag didn’t deploy either. I view this accident as indirect murder. These days, when I get in the car, the fear of that moment comes flooding back and I get scared. “Her wife freaks out just by hearing the sound of her washing machine,” she said, adding that she has suffered psychological damage since the accident.
