Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Walkthrough and Gameplay Revealed – Mental Illness portrayed in the sequel

Mental illness is a central element of the Hellblade games, with protagonist Senua constantly battling inner demons alongside outer demons, and the first game was widely praised for featuring and exhibiting psychosis.

To do this justice, Ninja Theory has collaborated with both patients and brain researchers, and aims to do it even better in the sequel, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II. And this is the focus of a longer walkthrough of the game that you can check out below, where studio head Dom Matthews explains:

“As we get closer to the release of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, I hope we can once again give someone a taste of what it’s like to hear voices, see things that aren’t you only see, and be guided by possible convictions. unusual for others.”

In addition to a better understanding of dealing with Senua’s mental illness over the course of the adventure, we also see a ton of gameplay and even see sequences we’ve seen before, but with seemingly updated graphics. . The phenomenon of early trailers showing a graphical level that the finished game can’t match doesn’t seem to be a problem here, but rather that it will look better than when we first saw it.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II launched on May 21 for PC and Xbox Series S/X, and is included from day one with Game Pass.
