Global superstar Adele has released a new music video for the single “30”, “Oh My God”.
In creating the video, Adele has joined forces with video director Sam Brown, who has directed the singer’s 2010 video for Rolling In The Deep. The energy and movement of the video highlights the fast and passionate pace of the song, although, as Adele herself explains, “I know it’s wrong, but I want to have fun!”
Adele’s fourth and latest studio album “30” continues to dominate the music charts around the world. It has tripled its platinum status in the United States, doubled its platinum status in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France and Korea, and has been number one on Billboard’s most popular album in the United States for seven weeks. Released last November, the work is the fastest-selling album of 2021 and the only one to sell more than a million copies. Its flagship single “Easy On Me” has also reached global highs and topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for eight weeks. It should be noted that “Easy On Me” has now occupied the first place in the list of the 40 most popular songs of US radio stations for the sixth week in a row, beating Adele’s previous best record “Rolling In The Deep”, which took first place in 2011 for five weeks.
