Yesterday’s interview of the Deputy Prime Minister Assen Vassilev for the British private news channel “Sky News” provoked enthusiastic reactions among foreign viewers.
His answer to the question of how long the country can do without Russian gas, to which he said forever, became emblematic.
The Deputy Prime Minister was interviewed on the topic of the suspended supplies of Russian gas and Bulgaria’s reaction to the crisis, and the video with the interview on Youtube was followed by hundreds of comments, many of them from foreigners, congratulating Vassilev on his position and answers.
Commentators write that they want to have more leaders like Vassilev in Europe, and several Britons comment that they would immediately replace their prime minister with him.
