Sensation. Very bad news for Macron

Incumbent Emmanuel Macron has a very small lead over his main rival, Marine Le Pen, ahead of Sunday’s French presidential election. This is shown by the data of the sociological researches in the country, BNT reports.

On the last straight, the outcome of the first round seems to be tangled. In the latest polls, announced just three hours ago, the difference between Emmanuel Macron and Marin Le Pen is only 2%, with Macron at 26% and Le Pen at 24%.

Almost all candidates mobilize their voters by announcing that they will face Macron in the second round. So far, Marin Le Pen has a real chance. Her rival, far-right Eric Zemur, said only he could mobilize right-wing voters.

But the big surprise here is the far-left Jean-Luc Melanchon. He raises his score day after day. From fifth position in early March, today he is third. And of course the campaign is now aimed at Le Pen. It is unlikely that there will be a runoff, because Marin Le Pen is advancing at the same pace. But in one sentence, everyone is against Macron to attract a record number of undecided voters.
