Lech Poznań is doing very well in the current Ekstraklasa season. Until the match of the 18th round, Kolejorz lost only one game – more precisely 0: 1 with Jagiellonia Białystok in the ninth round. Lech has 38 points in the table, which is already a better result compared to the previous season. “After nearly eight months of Skorża’s work in Poznań, Lech’s game is much better organized. The mentality of the players has also changed. The list of priorities has been updated” – Dawid Szymczak wrote in Sport.pl.

Lech Poznań stopped by Radomiak. Everything was decided in the first half
Radomiak Radom boldly started the meeting with the leader of Ekstraklasa. At the beginning, the team led by Maciej Skorża mainly defended themselves deeply and did not apply higher pressure to the opponent. Lech also had a problem with keeping the ball. In the 12th minute Felipe Nascimento hit the ball from a free kick, and Jesper Kalstrom played the ball with his hand. After the intervention of the VAR system, judge Jarosław Przybył awarded the hosts a penalty kick, which was used by Karol Angielski. Radomiak did not intend to hide behind a double guard and defend the lead.

Radomiak was leading the next actions and scored 2-0 in the 30th minute. First, the English won the duel in the middle of the field, and then Machado played to David Abramovich, who laid the ball flat for Maurides. He had absolutely no problems with beating Filip Bednarek. The team led by Dariusz Banasik was much better in the first half.
In the second half, Lech came to the fore, and in the 56th minute Nika Kvekveskiri took a free kick from outside the penalty area. In the end, Filip Majchrowicz recorded a successful intervention. Often the team from Poznań missed Radomiak’s move in the half, which in the 71st minute saved himself from losing a goal after a ricochet from Joao Amaral. Six minutes later, Damian Jakubik played the ball with his hand in the penalty area, and Mikael Ishak used a shot from 11 meters.
Lech Poznań later pushed his opponent on the defensive, but was unable to score a second goal. Thus, the team from Poznań has only three points advantage over Pogoń Szczecin and five points over Lechia Gdańsk. Radomiak, on the other hand, strengthened in fifth place with 31 points. Lech may be level with Pogoń if it defeats Górnik Zabrze on Sunday, December 12.
