Job Description & Summary
As a member of Accounting Advisory Services (“AAS”), we advise and provide a broad range of accounting, financial reporting and business advisory services to our clients. Our projects ranges from technical accounting consultation, new standard adoption, capital market advisory, transaction (M&A, divestiture, restructuring etc) related accounting application and reporting to accounting/reporting review, setup and process improvement.
Responsibilities
The candidate will involve in a wide range of accounting advisory projects in Hong Kong and Mainland China. The role of a AAS manager involves:
- Works as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution;
- Actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new / existing clients;
- Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients;
- Develop internal relationships, train, coach and supervise team members;
- The successful candidate will be assigned with different AAS roles that best fit his/her capability.
Requirements
- Degree holder in any discipline
- Professionally qualified
- Broad industry and business experiences preferred
- Hands-on experiences and knowledge in US GAAP/IFRS/CAS and auditing technical proficiency
- Reasonable knowledge of common capital markets rules and regulations
- Effective project management skill
- Excellent interpersonal skill
- Strong analytical and problem solving skill
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese )
- Business travel when needed
- For a Senior Manager, at least 8 years of relevant experience from either external audits of listed companies, transaction deals, business/corporate experiences or accounting advisory projects
