Through his Instagram account, Gading uploaded a photo of Rudy’s youth accompanied by a statement of pain.
“Rest in peace by Rudy Salam. Lose the memories. God have mercywrote Ivory, Friday (11/18).
Not only Gading, Roy Martin who is Rudy’s younger brother also expressed his condolences. He also posted it on his Instagram about him.
“God who gives and God who takes went to the Father’s house in heaven to sleep in eternity in a place where there is no more suffering and sadness my beloved brother Rudy greetings, may your memories last forever,” he wrote Roy Marten.
Rudy Salam is the elder brother of the Marten family. He is also one of the oldest actors in the Indonesian film industry.
The actor born in Salatiga on December 3, 1948 is married to the actress Marina Gardena and has two children, Runa Salam and Rama Prakarsa Salam.
There were many movies in Indonesia in 80s and 90s. Some of his famous films include ‘Ali Typhoon, Particle Detective Going Down the Street’, ‘Sundelbolong’, ‘Ira Maya Putri Cinderella’ and his latest film, ‘2014: Who is Above the President?’.
