Senegal wins 1st prize in UNESCO’s international competition on artificial intelligence in Africa

These students of the UFR CRAC of the UGB emerged victorious after the votes of the public and the final deliberation of the jury.

Thus, the Senegal team came to the very first place ahead of 9 other teams from the African continent.

Saloum Sané, Amina Awa Niang, Fatima Sané and Alassane Koringho Sagna bravely defended the colors of Senegal.

As a reminder, this international UNESCO challenge aims to promote artificial intelligence in Africa through audiovisual productions (web documentaries or reports).

The Senegal team produced a web documentary entitled: Senegal at the rendezvous of artificial intelligence.
