Libreville, Friday January 19, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – Presidents Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema and Macky Sall pledged yesterday during a tête-à-tête to boost the bilateral relationship between Libreville and Dakar in various areas.
Gabon-Senegal cooperation will need to be accelerated in the future. The tête-à-tête held yesterday in Dakar allowed Presidents Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema and Macky Sall to take an overview of this bilateral relationship which dates back several decades. The two men thus made a commitment to revitalize this cooperation in different areas, notably education, professional training, culture, youth and the economy.
But infrastructure must also occupy a special place in this recovery. “On strengthening cooperation between our two countries, the President of the Transition praised Senegal’s model of economic and infrastructural development, and intends to request support from this brother country in this regard,” underlines a press release from the Gabonese presidency . During his stay in Senegal as Gabon’s defense attaché, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema witnessed the transformation of this Téranga country and intends to copy this fine example for the benefit of his country.
