After several months of testing Zásilkovna naosro put down possibility to send the package through the Z-Box self-service machine. The novelty is available to all iPhone users (requires an app in version 1.15.0), the company will now gradually add the function to the application for Android.

The shipment can be delivered using the Z-Box at two in the morning without human assistance. All you need is a cell phone and a pencil. The addressee’s details are traditionally filled in on the mobile phone and the payment is made immediately, but now a six-digit code is also generated, which must be legibly written on the box.
With it, you will arrive at the machine, whose mailbox you can open via the application. Requires internet access, active Bluetooth and location services. Thanks to this, it automatically recognizes the machine standing next to it.
For now, only shipments addressed to natural persons can be sent via Z-Boxes. At the moment, it is not possible to return goods to e-shops or send parcels arranged through third-party services (Aukro, Vinted…). The shipping company wants to fix it in the future.
3,700 Z-Boxes have already grown in the Czech Republic, another 1,700 can be found in Slovakia and 800 in Hungary, where the Packeta group, which owns Zásilkovna, also operates. In total, it has over 15,000 outlets. Last year was a record year for the group. It increased its turnover by 23% to 6.1 billion crowns, the number of shipments transported also increased by 23% (90 million).
