‘Send someone at you with scissors’, Ferry Bouman forces our reporter to watch Undercover

The second season of the exciting series Undercover on Netflix starts on Sunday evening. Actor Frank Lammers has one of the leading roles as Brabant drug boss Ferry Bouman and is happy that the time has finally come. “It’s everything I’m looking for in a role: playing a huggable criminal, the good bad guy.”

The first season of the Netflix series Undercover was an unprecedented success. The streaming service announced at the end of 2019 that the first season of Undercover that year was the most popular of all series among Dutch viewers.

Netflix viewers en masse enjoyed the adventures of Ferry Bouman, who runs an ecstasy empire from a campsite in Lommel. The series became such a success that it is broadcast to no fewer than 187 countries and also translated.

Dome in Breda
Last season, a number of scenes from the series were shot at the Philips Stadium in Eindhoven. Omroep Brabant asked Ferry whether there would be a recognizable Brabant place in it again this year. “You will also see something in the Koepel in Breda this year.”

Omroep Brabant just called Ferry. The drug lord has an urgent request for our reporter:

Frank also plays this year with kickboxer Rico Verhoeven from Halsteren. Rico has a role as a bodyguard. “In real life I would rather have Rico as a friend than as a bodyguard,” says Frank. “I think he is too gentle to be a bodyguard. Rico is strong, but also just a very sweet boy.”

‘Seen all episodes already’
Many a fan may have been looking forward to watching the first episode on Sunday evening, Frank, on the other hand, has completely different plans. “My dad is turning 83, so I’m going to his birthday. Moreover, I have already seen all episodes once. ”

Every Sunday night, the latest episode of Undercover is released on Netflix at 9:45 PM.
