Austria Wine invites you to submit restaurant invoices in August.
The Austrian Wine Marketing GmbH (ÖWM) invites all lovers of Austrian wine to take part in an enjoyable competition. From August 1 to 31, 2024, it will pay ten restaurant bills a day, each worth up to 200 euros. The prerequisite is that wine from Austria was consumed in addition to food. Guests can enjoy the diversity of Austrian wine culture in inns, restaurants or even at Heuriger and, with a little luck, have their bill reimbursed.
“With this campaign, we want to promote local gastronomy and the sale of Austrian wine in restaurants and wine taverns,” explains Chris Yorke, Managing Director of the ÖWM. “Our aim is to highlight the diversity and quality of our wines and at the same time support local restaurants, which are an important part of our culinary tradition.”
Participation in the competition
To participate, simply send in a copy of your restaurant bill, which lists the food as well as wine or sparkling wine from Austria: This can be done either via the online form at www.oesterreichweinlaedtein.at or by sending an email to the following address:

Ten invoices up to a maximum amount of 200 euros each will be raffled off every day from all entries. It is possible to participate multiple times with different invoices, but each invoice can only be submitted once. The competition will take place from August 1 to 31, 2024. The deadline for entries is August 31, 2024, midnight. The winners will be randomly selected and notified by email. The minimum age for participation is 18 years.
