In the “Send Courage with Omniva” campaign, almost 500 kilograms of goods have been donated to the patients of the Children’s Clinical University Hospital (BKUS), LETA agency was informed by Madara Aldiņa, Head of Communication and Sustainability Projects of “Omniva”.
“Courage boxes” can be used to store small items up to 30 cm in size, such as child-safe toys, puzzles, books, board games or items for sports activities
. All items must be new.
Do not put food, including sweets, and items that exceed 30 cm in size or are not safe for children, for example, containing small parts, magnets, as well as items that are old, worn and out of date, in the “Courage Box”.
All donations will initially be delivered to the “Omniva” warehouse and then transferred to BKUS. The campaign collects items to help small patients reduce anxiety and fear before procedures and manipulations.
